I use Ragel extensively; the simplicity of C w/ the string processing
capabilities of Perl! And more importantly, it doesn't force a particular
application design, which works beautifully because I mostly wrote
asynchronous network servers, and I need to control program execution flow
very finely.

If I get the time to tackle Kelbt, I'll try to write up a short tutorial.
Since I don't have an academic background in comp.sci, however, I'm not a
good tutor of such things. Similarly, I've never wittingly written or used
[directly] an LR parser before, so there's that....
